Project overview

This is the kind of work that makes us proud. One of our maintenance foremen, Jervis, took the time to properly cultivate this tree well, and it shows.

Look closely and you’ll notice the root flare is fully exposed at the base of the trunk. That’s not just for looks. Burying the root flare traps moisture against the bark, invites rot and disease, and can slowly girdle and kill the tree over time. Exposing it lets the tree breathe and grow the way it’s meant to.

He also kept the edge of the tree well sharp and clean, so grass can’t creep in and compete with the tree for water and nutrients, then finished it off with crisp, clean mower lines on the surrounding grass.

Little details like these separate routine maintenance from real craftsmanship. We’re proud to have crew leads like Jervis on our team.
